Who We Are

Health-Aid Assistance International. (H.A.A.I)

HAAI- is an independent international organization intending to  provide care, bear witness and support social change. With an aim of providing medical programmes and evidence-based advocacy initiatives, they enable excluded individuals and their communities to access health and fight for universal access to healthcare.

Founded in 2022, the organization has am aim o to increase its fields of intervention, adopt more complex ways of taking action and reaffirm its campaigning and independent stance.

 

Involved individuals  working for this independent organization do not solely dispense care and treatment but condemn violations of human dignity and rights and fight to improve matters for populations living in precarious situations. H.A.AI is currently intending to work globally across all continents where it focuses on 4 priority areas: caring for the health of migrants and displaced persons, promoting sexual and reproductive health, combating HIV and reducing the harm and risks associated with drug use, crises and conflicts

General Objective

To improve access to health care needs to vulnerable communities, to reduce mortality and morbidity rates.

Specific Objectives.

To ensure the provision of quality care in health Aid Assistance International activities and provide easy access to PHC consultations integrating SRH, GBV, and MHPSS services.

To strengthen local healthcare systems by supporting through capacity building, community sensitization, and mobilization efforts

To develop strong partnerships and collaborations with state government, INGOs, and local partners by participating in cluster and stakeholder meetings.

Lisa Anyoso Amara is the Board Secretary and Personal Assistant to the Executive Office at Health Aid Assistance International (H.A.A.I). She holds a Diploma in Human Resources, bringing valuable expertise in organizational management, communication, and personnel coordination to her role. As Board Secretary, Lisa ensures effective governance by managing board documentation, recording minutes, and supporting policy compliance. In her capacity as PA to the Executive Office, she provides high-level administrative support, streamlining operations and facilitating executive functions. Lisa’s professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to service play a key role in advancing H.A.A.I’s mission of improving health access and community well-being.

Augustine Sagala Mudi is a final-year law student at Africa Nazarene University, expected to qualify by the end of 2025. He currently serves as the treasurer on the Board of Health Aid Assistance International (H.A.A.I.), where he plays a key role in financial oversight and resource management. Augustine combines his legal training with strong analytical and ethical decision-making skills to support transparency and accountability in the organization’s operations. His passion for public service, legal advocacy, and good governance guides his contributions to H.A.A.I.’s mission of improving health access in underserved communities. Augustine is committed to advancing justice through responsible leadership.

Carolyne Khatushi Amara is a seasoned Public Health Specialist and dedicated Board Member at Health Aid Assistance International (H.A.A.I). With extensive experience in community health, disease prevention, and health systems strengthening, she brings invaluable technical expertise to the board’s strategic direction. Carolyne is deeply committed to improving health outcomes in underserved communities through evidence-based interventions and policy advocacy.
